Future Research

The Center for Strategic Communication aims to be a leading center for thought and research on problems of public sector strategic communication. Though current projects focus on problems of international terrorism and Islamist extremism, public sector strategic communication is a much larger subject. Though we expect that these topics will remain important for some time to come, in the future we plan to expand our efforts to study a broader set of problems.  These might include:

• Communication related to domestic terrorism threats
• Strategic communication in state-state conflicts
• Health and public safety communication
• Risk and crisis communication
