Bloomberg Government LogoThe American Security Project’s August 20th event, “U.S. Drones Policy: Strategic Frameworks and Measuring Effects,” was mentioned in Bloomberg Government.  The article also quotes Joshua Foust and Ashley Boyle’s recent paper, “The Strategic Context of Lethal Drones,” while adding that the US is set to become the leader in research and development of drone technology.

“The global market for unmanned aerial vehicles will almost double over the next decade, to $11.4 billion from about $6.6 billion, according to a market study by Teal Group Corp. of Fairfax, Virginia.

The U.S. will account for 62 percent of research and development of drones over the next decade and 55 percent of procurement, the study found.”
