Project period:

Fall 2020 – Present

CSC is support this project of ASU's Center on Narrative, Disinformation, and Strategic Influence. The goal is to use a fusion of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to understand China's use of narrative to influence view of itself and the United States in Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. We identify relevant narratives through interaction with panels of regional subject matter experts, and subsequent textual research. We then study themes identified in the qualitative research using social cyber forensic methods focusing in mainstream and social media.
