Effects of Territorial Disputes on the Filipino Twitterverse

The purpose of this project was to understand how conflict between the Philippines and China regarding the South China Sea was playing out in social media. The analysis, based on more than 500,000 tweets gathered using a set of keywords based on disputed territories, actors, and events, also looked at how the U.S. military was positioned in the media space.
