This study examines the impact of Twitter's March 2021 removal of key Arizona Election Audit accounts. Analysis of tweets before and after the intervention shows reduced participation, network decentralization, and more diffuse conspiracy themes. Deplatforming disrupted mobilization efforts, demonstrating the effectiveness of network-driven moderation in curbing social media-fueled attacks on civic institutions. Read it here.
