U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren is proposing a long-term funding for the fusion energy research project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, after its recent restoration.  As reported by WBUR in the article, “MIT Fusion Energy Research Project Is Restarted:”

She says year-to-year funding carries too much risk of another shutdown of the Plasma Science and Fusion Center, like the one last year.
