The American Security Project cordially invites you to a lunchtime discussion:

Egypt – Its Political and Economic Future

With the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt

 Egypt & Military Plane

February 13, 12:30 PM-1:30 PM

The American Security Project will be hosting members from the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AMCHAM) and the US-Business Council, who will discuss many of the salient issues budding from Egypt’s current political and economic issues.

Since the overwhelming vote of approval for the new Constitution and the ongoing political and economic transition, the future of the country now holds great implications for US-Egyptian trade relations, cross-border investment, and regional economic stability more generally.

Join us on February 13 to talk with top officials from AmCham and the Business Council.  The analysis will revolve around commerce and investment within Egypt, the search for business-friendly Egyptian economic policy, as well as the intertwining private and public interests of the United States in the region.  More topics will include Egyptian energy policy, issues in its agricultural sector, and strategies towards the country’s socioeconomic development.

Join us for a look into Egypt’s political and economic future.
