Center for Strategic Communication

by Steven R. Corman

Since 2004, CSC has stood for the Consortium for Strategic Communication, with a web home at comops.org.  Earlier this year we became the Center for Strategic Communication at Arizona State University and this week we are also moving to a new web site at http://csc.asu.edu

For eight years the CSC was an informal group of scholars at ASU working to apply concepts from the field of human communication studies to bear on practical problems of terrorism and public diplomacy.  Part of that effort was this blog and a successful white paper series.

After we obtained two large funded research projects, the Arizona Board of Regents approved conversion of CSC to an official university research center.  We launched the center earlier this year, and as part of the change we have a completely redesigned web site at a new location. The new site contains the same sections as the old site, including the white paper series, COMOPS Journal, and Monitor.  In addition there are new content sections.

We have taken steps to insure that the move from comops.org to csc.asu.edu will be as seamless as possible.  The old links should redirect to the appropriate place on the new site.  If they do not please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.  You should be able to find what you’re looking for using the menus at the top of each of the new pages.

Everybody at CSC thanks you for your continued patronage, and we hope you like the new web site.
