It is important to support the extension of the Iran talks until July 15.  The sides have made tangible progress to date on a range of issues. The P5 +1 are negotiating a political agreement to be completed by March 1, with technical annexes on inspections and other issues completed by July 15.  Secretary Kerry emphasized that if a political agreement is not reached by March 1, there may be a change of course.

If we can reach a deal Iran that will ensure Iran does not have nuclear weapons to threaten their neighbors—that’s worth waiting for.
