Pentagon Audit Clears Propaganda Effort. “An American military propaganda campaign that planted favorable news articles in the Iraqi news media did not violate laws or Pentagon regulations, but it was not properly supervised by military officials in Baghdad, an audit by the Pentagon Inspector General has concluded.” (NY Times, 10/21).

Iranian Story on IFAW. “When David Horowitz returns to Columbia University next Friday to mark his organization’s much-hyped ‘Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week’ (IFAW), he will find a determined opposition, coming from a coalition of concerned students and up to nine of Horowitz’s ‘101 Most Dangerous Professors.’ ” (Islamic Republic News Agency, 10/20).
